I have always loved making things with my hands. I have been “playing” with lots of paper and cloth, thread, paint, and yes… Christmas is coming, so glitter too. I always plan to make some holiday items for the annual fine craft show at Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, but usually don’t find the time. This year, I started early. I have really enjoyed getting out my mom’s sewing machine and crafting a few things. My mom sewed, quilted and crocheted my whole like, so it brought back lots of wonderful memories.

I have collaged and painted lots of balls, made paper mache cups and saucers, vintage stars, angels and felt bears. Be sure and stop by Fifth Avenue Art Gallery during our 42nd Annual Fine Craft Show that opens November 1st and runs through December.
